Get Rid of Man Boobs – Your Options

One of a man’s worse nightmares is trying to get rid of man breasts, those blights of fleshy outgrowths that appear where they are unwanted and don’t rightly belong. So what’s a man to do when he discovers to his horror that his mammary glands have become somewhat enlarged?

Gynecomastia, the polite term for the more colloquial man boobs syndrome, is fairly common among adolescent boys. Up to sixty per cent of them may suffer a temporary enlarging of the breast area. For most of these boys the condition dissipates by the time they reach adulthood and their hormones have stabilized. For the remaining thirty or so per cent, this distressing situation is carried forward into maturity.

Get Rid Of Man Breasts With Surgery?

In conventional medicine there are not too many options open to you if you want to get rid of man breasts. The choices are basically drugs or surgery, both of which are drastic and have side effects. Neither of these choices is really ideal.

If the cause of your ‘moobs’ is not some underlying illness, such as conditions affecting the kidney and the liver, the cause is most likely hormonal. Before you consider going under the knife or taking drug therapy to get rid of man breasts, you would do well to give your body and health an overhaul.

Hormones on the Rampage

The hormonal disruptions that prompt the growth of male breasts are caused by too much of the female hormone estrogen. We live in a toxic world where everything from the water supply, to the foods we eat, to the personal care products we use, are laced with synthetic substances that mimic this hormone. If you eat well, exercise right and limit your exposure to toxins, you stand a far better chance of staying healthy and avoiding this scourge. If you are overweight, unfit and typically eat a westernized high-fat diet devoid of nutrients, however, you are more likely to be a victim.

  • The first step then, to get rid of man breasts, is to clean up your diet. You need to aim for high nutrient foods that are as free from chemicals and additives as you can get. Good quality protein in the form of free range chicken, grass fed beef and organic nuts and seeds are good choices. Fruit and vegetables should ideally be organic too. The more natural and unprocessed the food is, the better. Drinking water is essential to help your body flush toxins and work more efficiently. What you stop eating is just as important as what you do eat, so skip the sodas, the fast food and the fruit juices.
  • The next step would be to engage in some kind of resistance training to make your muscles more sensitive to insulin and encourage your body to start using fat for energy, instead of sugar to lose chest fat. Interval training is the best form. This will not only improve your chest, but your overall health too.

Male breasts, moobs, gynaecomastia, call them what you will, are a cause of embarrassment and stress, but you can get rid of man breasts naturally.
